Leather Jacket - The Edit
We all love a classic black leather biker jacket, don't we? Think those bad gals in the 50's, Blondie in the 70's, Madonna in the 80's and, style queen, Kate Moss. They've all got that classic black biker look sorted.
They've become a staple in most modern wardrobes and have the ability to give almost any outfit that cool vibe. With that in mind, we thought we'd grab one of our vintage bikers and style it up in three different ways to give you some inspiration!
(Leather Cropped Black Biker Jacket - £40)
First up, we went for this Punk inspired look. A leather jacket paired with a tartan dress and some classic Docs has become synonymous with the Vivienne Westwood-era, British Punk Rocker. Just add some extra safety pins and black eyeliner to finish it off.
( Sleeveless Tartan Dress - £14 / Docs model's own )
Our second look took on a smarter vibe. Channelling current fashion trends, we paired the jacket with some tailored dogtooth trousers, a preppy pink button-up blouse and some summery slingback heels. Perfect to take you from the office to evening drinks!
( Dogtooth Belted Trousers £16 / Hot Pink Sleeveless Top - £12 / Shoes available from Clerk Street shop )
Then we took on more of a boho, summer-loving feel. We love the contrast of the bright, flowing, floral maxi dress and the biker jacket. Giving us serious Woodstock vibes. Grab a flower crown and get ready for a good time!
( Floral Maxi Dress - £16 )
And finally, as an added bonus, we paired the biker jacket with Elizabeth's own outfit to create our take on the quintessential Bad Sandy from Grease look!
Tell me 'bout it, stud!
So, how will you be wearing yours?
Until next time,
